hyperv is a bit tricky cause you have to apply some conversions on vmdk included in ova.

redhat does not apply as CE is not Redhat based.

You can download CE from any VM or hardware. Just verified. The OVA needs to get stored first and uploaded to your newlycreated VM. When starting it it will execute all install steps. Access to Internet is needed. No alternative to OVA image is provided.
