Monitoring Multiple DBs with a single Kubernetes Cluster

We have stood up a PoC to monitor a single AWS RDS Oracle database. We have configured Kubernetes (EKS) cluster in our VPC, a set of STAP pods along with a single AWS Classic Load Balancer sitting in front of the nodes hosting the STAP namespace.

We now have the requirement to extend the PoC to monitor multiple AWS RDS Oracle databases.

Given that it appears that we have to hard wire the database host, name and port into the pod deployment script and can only deploy a single LB in front, I'm not sure how this can be done.

One suggestion is that we deploy a new set of pods (and an associated LB) on a second namespace within the EKS cluster. This appears to be best option.

Is it possible to have a single set of STAP pods accepting transitions and directing that traffic to different databases?

    Is there an alternative option?

    Thanks

    Dave
