    Hello Seniors,

    I am looking for a way OR GRDAPI Command to point all STAP Agents to it's Secondary Collector at one go.  meaning, I need to make Secondary Guardium Host as a Primary Guardium Host for all STAP Agents at one go.

    I know there is a GRDAPI command update_stap_config  and parameter modification_host (UNIX, Windows) But not sure whether this is for Fail Over to Secondary Collector OR what.  Can anyone guide me on this. Thanks!

    Hi Akash,

    It sounds as though you have defined a failover collector in your Stap configuration.  If you would like to move all Staps from Collector 1 to Collector 2 for example,  you can do something that would make the sniffer process unavailable on the primary collector,  something like stopping the inspection core or rebooting the collector would cause the snif process to temporarily stop and cause the staps to all failover to collector 2.
