IKJ56500I COMMAND B8RACF NOT FOUND although it is defined in IKJTSO

    Hi,

    I installed RACF Offline .in zSecureV25 and defined commands into the IKJTSO member as follows:

    B8RACF /* zSecure Admin RACF-Offline */ +
    B8RVARY /* zSecure Admin RACF-Offline */ +
    B8REPLAY /* zSecure Admin RACF-Offline */ +
    B8RACFLG /* zSecure Admin RACF-Offline */ +

    But when I enter the B8RACF command 

    READY
    B8RACF
    I am receiving:
    IKJ56500I COMMAND B8RACF NOT FOUND
    READY
    When I displayed with DISPLAY IKJTSO allocate, it is seen in CURRENT PARMLIB SETTINGS FOR AUTHCMD:
    as :
    LISTDATA LDATA RMM SETCACHE SETC B8RACF
    B8RVARY B8REPLAY B8RACFLG

    RACF OFFLINE is successfully running in batch mode.

    Besides defining B8RACF as authorized to run as an APF command, you also have to indicate where the program should be loaded from, in other words, the SB8RLNK data set with B8RACF must be in the STEPLIB of your logon procedure or in the linklist.  Some installations just copy a few of the members from SB8RLNK into an existing linklist library (and hopefully update the copy once SMPE has applied maintenance to the original). 
    From the installation and deployment manual:

    RACF-Offline is installed in two system libraries:
    • A load library, SB8RLNK, which must be APF authorized
    • A JCL sample library, SB8RSAMP

    Hi Rob,

    The problem solved with your explains.
    I had added the SB8RLNK library into Linklist according to B8RSPROG member of the SAMPLIB. But Looks like it has not worked.
    I rechecked linklist. I could not see in LNKLST in SDSF. I added SB8RLNK to Linklist. I saw in LNKLST this time. B8RACF worked.
