IBM Security Guardium

hi all,

we are currently in GIM version 11.3_r110300394_1 for windows. 
we tried to upgrade GIM to version 11.5.0.258.
but getting this error "ERR=1309 Error obtaining client authentication info module=GIM".

Hi Arunkumar,

V11.3 GIM server/client uses SHA1, but V11.5 uses SHA256 starting Guardium 11.5 patch 530 (11.0p530) and Windows GIM V11.5.0.258. You have to upgrade the appliance first.

Hi Satoshi,

We are facing similar issue but in our case we are not upgrading to a SHA256 based GIM. the details are as follows

Appliance at P525.

Current version 11.3_r110300256_1
Version to upgrade to is 11.4_r110400316_1

Any insight would be appreciated.
