  • 1.  Disable MAC address randomization on android

    Greetings,

    I would like to know if it's possible to disable random MAC address on Android devices through policies? and if not, is there any API to query this random MAC address?

    Hi Erick

    I was off sick for a few days hence delay. 

    There doesn't seem to be a configuration set for the randomisation of MAC addresses for Android. If these are to be set on a WiFi connection, could it be configured on the router? Or are they to be assigned by telecoms provider on the SIM card? 

    Regarding the ability to query MAC addresses, yes this is possible. Please request an up-to-date version of the WebServices documentation from our Support team and they will send you the guide, which contains the ability to query device MAC adddress, as part of Network Information retrieval.

    Hi if this is Samsung devices you can find this this option in the Knox OEM policy /WI-FI Configutation / Skip Mac Randomization
