  • 1.  cannot open PDF file - no work apps

    While using SDS App to view the PDF files, it presents me with open file window and displays message no work apps.


    I'm reviewing the MaaS policies to see if there could be something preventing SDS App from getting to Google Docs Apps.
    I'm not sure where else to look.

    Android Samsung Galaxy Tablet.
    Corporate Owned, Profile Owner
    SDS App installed.
    Google Docs App installed.

    Any thoughts or suggestions?

    Have you added the apps to the MaaS360 App Catalog, distributed them to the PO devices, and allow-listed them in the App Compliance section of policy? 

    These measures should facilitate what you are trying to do.

    Have you ensured the .pdf files you are opening are on the work side of the device in addition to the SDS app being a work app as opposed to native personal app and .pdf file?

    Just replying as you have sent me a mail confirming this is working. 

    Thanks for letting me know. 

    Always a good idea to document best practice, just a TXT file with the steps to enroll / configure etc so that you follow steps and have them for anyone else needing to do the same.
