Can someone please shed more light on the usage of this entry?

According to description, If a ping to a junction fails, WebSEAL continues to send requests from clients to the junction. If this configuration entry is set to true, WebSEAL stops sending requests from clients to the junction while the ping operation is failing.

Where does WebSEAL send the requests to? Will it be another junction on the cluster? What error will the user see?

    Thanks

The disable-on-ping-failure configuration entry, when set to 'true', means that WebSEAL will no longer send client requests to that particular junction server, until a ping request succeeds again.  In this situation, when a request is received for the junction, it will either forward the request to a different server for the junction (if multiple servers are defined for the junction), or it will return an error page to the client – in the event that no servers are available for the junction.

    I hope that this helps.
