We'd like to Upgrade Our PowerHA From V6.1 To V7.1.0.

My current version is as below:

    # oslevel -s

    7100-00-10-1140

    #halevel -s

    6.1.0 SP17

I have got some infromation from the forum which is from V6.1 To V7.1.3 like the below link.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MaPxuK4poUw

But i still have some question:

1.Is there any difference between to V7.1.3 and to V7.1.0?

2.my current net_diskhb disk is shared with other used, if i need to upgrade to V7.1.0 which need to have a CAA disk, so that means i need to add a new disk which is just used for the CAA communication?

If yes, what is the new disk's size that i need to add?

Any Other infromation is helpful for me.

    Thank you very much!

    2.Capacity of the CAA disk
The recommended value of the Cluster Repository Disk capacity as the CAA is like 10GB.
However, the description of reason about this 10GB is not found
When capacity of Cluster Repository Disk is short, an error should be output, but does not know what kind of message is output.

The Repository Disk preferred size of 2 node clusters becomes 1GB in latest PowerHA 7.2.0, 7.2.1 Redbook.

    Please refer to the following.

    V7.2.0

3.2 Cluster Aware AIX repository disk

Cluster Aware AIX (CAA) uses a shared disk to store its cluster configuration information. You must have at least 512 megabytes (MB) and no more than 460 gigabytes (GB) of disk space allocated for the cluster repository disk. This feature requires that a dedicated shared disk is available to all nodes that are part of the cluster. This disk cannot be used for application storage or any other purpose.
The amount of configuration information that is stored on this repository disk is directly dependent on the number of cluster entities, such as shared disks, number of nodes, and number of adapters in the environment. You must ensure that you have enough space for the following components when you determine the size of a repository disk:

        Node-to-node communication
        Cluster topology management
        All migration processes

The advised size for a two-node cluster is 1 GB.
