RHEL 8.6 on POWER9 with +4TB of memory boot times

Does anyone have any experience with large(+4TB of memory) RHEL8 LPARs on POWER9?  We are seeing delays on boot at the early kernel level when the LPARs have greater than 4TB of memory.   I got a case open but haven't really got any answers.  Has anyone come across this behavior?

    BOOT ~12:22:30 from console:
    ...
    [    0.000000] printk: log_buf_len min size: 1048576 bytes
    [    0.000000] printk: log_buf_len: 4194304 bytes
[    0.000000] printk: early log buf free: 1032824(98%)

    < Hang on console until 12:37:20 (+15 minutes) >

    [    0.000000] Memory: 8588807232K/8597798912K available (15744K kernel code, 6016K rwdata, 7296K rodata, 5696K init, 12279K bss, 8991680K reserved, 0K cma-reserved)
