Possible conflict for package from different source

    Hi, 

    We have in our python 3.7 the packages python-dateutil and python3-dateutil installed from AIX Toolbox. Now I need to install python-dateutil 2.8.2 from PYPI. I will use dnf remove to uninstall python-dateutil for sure. But do we need to uninstall python3-dateutil as well?

    Hi,

    python-dateutil  is for python2.7 and python3-dateutil is for python 3.7.
    so if's depends under which python version , you are trying to install dateutil 2.8.2. 
    In case of python3.7,  you can uninstall python3-dateutil and try to install from PYPI.
