  • 1.  java error install acs

    Hello, I update the version to  ACS 1.1.9.4 on Windows Professional, it didn't leave the icon on the toolbar, I had to add it manually, and every time I run it I get this java error:

    Were you attempting to install for your own profile, or for all users?  Are you a local admin on this computer?  It appears that you ran into a permissions error.

    Hello Miguel,

    I see that your java version is old. Uninstall the version (1.8.0xxx) and install the IBM Semeru Runtime Open Edition 21.0.2.0 (IBM JRE for Windows). You can use the open JRE as well. But we have more success on resolving issues with the IBM Semeru JRE. I hope this helps.

    We use Amazon Corretto and have never had an issue.  It is also OpenJDK.
