Dear Patrick
Considering the lack of response to your post for many days, I would say it is best for you to open a service request to IBM (is it still called PMR?), and you also can ask them your questions above.

Subject: IBM Advanced Job Scheduler job stuck in *PROCESS status
If anyone has any suggestions to try, I have two systems with stuck jobs right now.
I did find that the systems with issues have no PTFs for 5770JS1. I've been unable to find a particular PTF that corrects this issue, so finding that would help me provide an answer to why this happened. Even if this is corrected by PTF, I'd very much like to know of a way to do the WRKJOBJS option 6 reset in a batch job.

I don't think I've seen this for 10 years, but I just got a bunch of them. The real job is gone, but the WRKJOBJS screen shows *PROCESS. The only way I've found to 'reset' this job is interactively using option 6 (Release/Reset), on that screen. Neither HLDJOBJS nor RLSJOBJS will run because of this. I've only seen this with SCDCDE(*MINUTES) jobs.
I'm looking for a way to reset the job programmatically. So basically, I need to do whatever option 6 does, but in a batch job.
