    Hi,

Not enough information or vague terms.
    Crontab implies AIX or Linux.

"backout queues data" - no idea what that is and "queue manager" is very vague.

    crontab entry

    30 21   * * 5 command

Meaning 9:30 pm every Friday = day 5.

    Cheers, Nigel

    Hi Nigel.,

Thanks for your time. I need a crontab script.for the backup of data on every Friday of every month..

Details are: I have an IBM MQ queue manager and in that i have a local queue which stores the data, I need that data to be backup on every friday.

And the the directory should be created automatically with specific date on Friday. That all data.. Which should back up from the local queue should be store in this directory..

Could you please give me a script according to this. And do need full.

    Thanks and Regards

    OK thanks for the info.
I am an AIX expert (or like to think so) but I do not know how to backup the IBM MQ queue manager & local queue.
We need to help of an expert in that technology.

Or perhaps, you can read the MQ Redbook  https://www.redbooks.ibm.com/redbooks/pdfs/sg248218.pdf

    Or call on MQ Support
Or request help from IBM System Expert Lab Services

    Good luck, Nigel
