IBM's decision to engage with HelpSystems was their own and from my understanding there was to be no changes in support. So far there hasn't. As long as BRMS is still part of my LPP's and I'm paying IBM for the product and support, it is still an IBM product and should not have been gutted from the new Navigator. Your explanation may apply to BRMS, what about the other missing components like AJS, PowerHA and others. They also moved Database, Printing and IFS out of the product and into ACS while they are promising to put IFS back.
After enduring the changes for many years to get the Navigator product where it was after the Windows product was shutdown, re-tooling the interface without full function was a poor decision. By announcing the end of the better Navigator interface by 2022 and recommending the 5250 interface as an alternative is beyond acceptable if they still want the platform to be embraced.

Subject: A new idea for the new Navigator for i - Add BRMS and AJS
I believe the reason that BRMS is not included in the New Navigator for i is based on a business fact that BRMS is no longer exclusively IBM's product. A few years ago, development ownership of BRMS product (and I suspect a number of IBMers specializing in BRMS) was transferred from IBM to Help Systems. It may be more proper to ask Help Systems if it intends to deliver a way to add support for BRMS into the New Navigator GUI.

For those who are less than impressed with the gutted version of Navigator for i, the official word is there is no timeline for adding BRMS or AJS to the interface. I was told to use either the Command Line or the Heritage version which will no longer be supported after 2022.
I'm so glad they dropped us back about 15 years by cutting the head off of IBM i Graphical Management tools but command line access is no longer an acceptable solution in 2022.
I was given a link so we can vote on a new idea to add BRMS and AJS to the new Navigator for i. That link is below, but it doesn't guarantee the plug-ins will be added.
