    Hello dear MQ lab engineers.

    Using AMS, I feel very interesting the use of Server to Server MCA interception. But why locking it only to z OS 😱😱.
    Share it on open systems. It's an amazing improvement, don't spoil it !

    As it says there, the function already is a candidate future item for the Distributed platforms. (The Idea is marked as "delivered" as there's no "delivered for some environments" option.)

    The platform coverage is reversed for the SVRCONN version of AMS interception, where it is available for Distributed but is still a candidate for z/OS. Harmonising the situation across the board is something that would be nice to do, but as always subject to priorities and other requirements taking precedence.

    Further to Mark's reply, please see the statement of direction that was published when we released the capability on z/OS, which indicates that IBM intends to deliver it on distributed platforms as well in the future.
