  • 1.  Need Access Subnet IP range from DataPower

    Hello Team,

DataPower needs to access "ABC.com" API which is on  AWS/cloud service and its cannot used single IP. AWS used Range of IP's (0/24).
Please help how to access API with range of IP's from DataPower.

    Thank you!

Is there a reason you can't simply use "ABC.com" instead of an IP?

Continuing on Joseph's question, can you provide more details on your use case? AAA policy for example supports IP ranges, but if you can provide more information we will be able to understand more.

    Hello Team,
We need to consumed "ABC.com" URL at API manager. "ABC.com" url is on Cloud and on cloud, IP address of URL changed dynamically (within subnet range) on cloud.
We are unable to access URL ( Dynamic IP) from DataPower.
Please guide how to access URL from DataPower.
Also can we configured cname (which is provided by cloud team) with URL on datapower?

Note: When we set host alias for URL with the single IP ( which is present on Cloud) then we are able to access it, but when IP address change on cloud, we need to reset host alias for URL with new IP which is not good practice.

    Hi,

seems to me that your DP is not connected to a DNS server or your "ABC.com" URL is not known in the DNS server.
otherwise this should work out of the box by just using the "ABC.com" URL as backend in DP.
