Is there a way to increase the number of messages log and console log files on MQ Web for Linux.

I seems to only have 1 historical log for each of the above

maxTraceFileSize and maxTraceFiles affect the messages.log file it doesn't affect the console.log. But normally messages.log is all you need anyway. I tried changing the values and it worked for me.
