Hi, you need the MQ, APIC and ACE operators installed in the same namespace, as well. You don't need to have the Platform UI to create instances, you can use the operators to create instances.
From the Platform UI under the overview section on the left hand side there is a list of options. If you select messaging, it allows you to create an MQ QMGR. Design APIs allows you to create an APIC instance. etc. There is a whole section in the
Knowledge Center on using the Platform UI and how to create instances, and running with different components.
