Hi All

Anyone experience a freeze in a flow that uses the fileinput node to retrieve messages over sftp?

We have seen this happen a couple of times. The flow itself won't stop afterward, we have to restart the integration server. After the restart everything works fine again.

We are frequently facing the same issue. When our flow tries to drop the file to our end customer via SFTP it doesn't works but once we restart the integration server our files get dropped to the required destinations.It seems like the FileInput/FileOutput node is holding the session or waiting for the connection.

Feedback from support is that setting the timeoutInterval property on the sftp policy should do the trick. Otherwise, the flow might end up in an endless wait loop.

If a problem arises with the connection, it will timeout after that interval and reconnect. This is not the same as a retry and is purely related to the connection itself.

We were facing this issue aswell, but this was solved when we upgarded the ace image to the latets version. So it was a bug in the ace version. Which version are you currently using?

I was using 12.0.9.0. Support never mentioned this was a bug that an upgrade would fix, it was rather clear that this was expected behaviour. Now the freeze might indeed be a bug that was fixed in a newer java version. But I will set the timeout parameter regardless, can't hurt :).
