    Hello MQ experts

I am trying to issue MQCMD_INQUIRE_Q_MGR_STATUS via PCF command on z/OS .
but I am never getting the condition where MQCFST_PARAMETER = MQCA_Q_MGR_NAME under MQCFST.

    I am getting  MQRCCF_BROKER_DELETED EQU 3070    instead.

    Regards

The MQCMD_INQUIRE_Q_MGR_STATUS command (aka DISPLAY QMSTATUS) does not exist on z/OS.

You can get some of the same information from other commands as detailed in this blog post: IBM MQ Little Gem #6: QMSTATUS

    Cheers,

To further confirm the question you sent to my in-box, there is no way to issue the DISPLAY QMSTATUS command against a z/OS queue manager. It does not exist. You cannot do it regardless of whether you use PCF, a z/OS command or anything else. It is not there.

Perhaps you can tell us what information you were hoping to get from the command and we can help you find an alternative command if there is one.

    Cheers,
    Morag
