  • 1.  Unable to create queue manager on CP4I platform using YAML/Form view

    Hi,

    We have installed Instance of IBM MQ Version 9.2.3 on CP4I platform. We are unable to create the queue manager using from view as well as YAML view. 

    Facing an error as mentioned in the below screenshot:

    Screenshot is not there. Perhaps just copy the text of the error rather than a screen shot?

    What version of CP4I? Also, is it possible you are using networkType OVNKubernetes?

    I have run into this a few times.  Make sure all the pods are started, including the common services pods.  There may be a problem with the validating webhook, but I have found that is usually not the cause.  If everything is running, then try updating the NetworkPolicy and change the port from 8443 to {}.

    I hit this problem with a later release.

    It may be that this problem occurs after the IBM MQ operator is updated.

    I see the documentation now includes guidance on how to fully uninstall the IBM MQ operator.  The very last step shows that the validating web hook needs manual removal.  The doc suggests this applies to Openshift 4.7.   We are using 4.8 and this still occurs.
