    How do you install/configure the agent for Vmware when you are running Instana free trial? The documentation suggests editing the Yaml file, but where is that found in the cloud based free trial?

    Dear Arvid,
    as per documentation (https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/obi/current?topic=instana-monitoring-vsphere#configuration) you can deploy the agent on the vCenter itself or any agent of choice (linux/windows) on a remote system - the vCenter sensor is able to perform remote monitoring if installation on the vCenter is not possible.

    Once the Instana agent is deployed, you find the agent configuration YAML file here to make the sensors connect to the vCenter services: <agent_install_dir>/etc/instana/configuration.yaml
