Does AutoProfile take a profile of all the time? Or does AutoProfile take a profile of only some of the time?

    I have a question about AutoProfile (https://www.instana.com/docs/profiling/).
Does AutoProfile take a profile of all the time? Or does AutoProfile take a profile of only some of the time?
We would really appreciate your answer because this understanding is important for tuning the Application based on this profile.
    [Background of this question]
    - According to the Blog (https://www.instana.com/blog/using-instana-autoprofile-to-optimize-application-performance/), it is described as "AutoProfile is Instana's always-on profiler designed to continuously monitor heavy workloads in production".
    - On the other hand, if we look at the clock symbol in the Auto Profile GUI, the profile measurement appears to be intermittent.
    Best regards,
    /Hiroki

    Hello Yokota-san,
In my understanding, AutoProfile is sampling based.
It's always on, but not profiling all the time (sampling every 10ms as default).

    Thank you, Yukihiro-san,
If so, what does the clock symbol represent?
This is a much longer interval than 10ms.
    Best regards,
    /Hiroki
