  • 1.  What authority do MQ requests run under

    I am using the stock manager API request from curl to put a message to a queue, and get a response back.
    I can see the message is put to the queue using the authority of the started task.
    How do I configure it so it uses the userid of the originator ( via a curl request with certificate authentication)


    Also if the server application is not running the application just ends - there is no "Ive timed out" response from the application.

    RE: The authority under which MQ requests run, information on how you can configure the MQ service provider to use a username and if required a password are documented in "Security requirements for the IBM MQ service provider".
