Focus is this time on IBM System Automation for z/OS and its Processor Operations component. You will hear an overview about System Automation's capabilities to automate operational tasks that you would otherwise have to handle manually at the Hardware Management Console, such as LPAR activation or changing LPAR-characteristics and more.

Jürgen works in IBM Z Software and as an Architect he is responsible for IT Operations Management software spanning monitoring and automation, with a focus on IBM System Automation for z/OS (SA z/OS). Jürgen has more than 25 years experience in system software development for IBM Z, in particular in the areas of automated operations, performance and workload management.
