Hi Mark,
Thanks for your comments. If what you suggest is true, it sounds like a bug to me! I cut and pasted from the documentation.
How do I check?
I uploaded it to z/OS as ASCII and it looks ok in a sequential file
linux cat command looks OK.
regards
Colin

Subject: problems parsing STOCKREQ.COPY
Hey Colin,
It's worth checking your end of line characters on the copybook.
I remember running the importers on Ubuntu for another product and without the correct end of line characters the copybook would fail to parse correctly.
Kind Regards,
Mark

Subject: problems parsing STOCKREQ.COPY
I cut and pasted the 2 lines of the STOCKREQ.CPY file into a file and tried to import them.
1) I could not tell from the doc what columns the text needs to be in.. I think it is column 8
2) I get
parsing......
The import wizard has not found any valid stuctures declaration - click OK
I get the same pop up a second time which looks like a bug
I am onUbuntu
regards
Colin
