Automated Testing

Hello, I am currently upgrading from ADCD 2.3 to 2.4.

Is there any way to connect or plug in my db2 data (data,db,ts,tb,ix,…) with the new db2, configuration will be the same.

I only know this way (not clear about volumes transfer between 2 enviroments)

-extract ddls and unload data
-ipl adding volume with ddls and data files
-catalog  or copy files to a volume who could be used
-create db,ts,etc 
- load

Any tip or reference ?
