Hello Everyone,
I've been trying out Granite 3.2 for various use cases of my own and have noticed some interesting nuances with Granite 3.2.
A well-structured zero-shot prompt is all you need for most tasks. You don't need meta prompts that are paragraphs long for something simple like this basic table for a plant watering schedule. I've noticed during my past 4 years tinkering with LLM's, that sometimes less is more. The quality and context of the input prompt on Turn 1 should be plenty, to conserve tokens.
From this general baseline, I move forward with a least to most strategy and keep iterating with Granite 3.2, for multiple turns.
Clear, specific prompts, in a conversational manner are what I have found works best for my workflow with Granite 3.2 vs structured/conversational hybrid approaches I use with other LLMs.
Granite 3.2 is great for plant enthusiasts as well!! Most importantly, it is very simple.
I hope everyone is doing well and having fun exploring Granite!
Regards,
Julian
