    X-Application Version: 3.1.2,
    Tamino Version : 3.1.1.1
    Platform : Win2k
    WebContainer : Tomcat 3.3
    JDK Version : 1.3.0
After trying to customize X-Application Generator I receive the following Errormessage:
HTTP Status 404 - The requested resource (/xappgen/GuiServlet) is not available.
    What can I do ?

    Hello Juliusd
In order to use Xapplication generator this context definition should be added to your server.xml configuration file.
Can you check whether it exists ?

where c:\xapplication is the path of your xapplication directory.

    Hi juliusd,

if the post of MehmetServer didn’t help you, there’s one other thing that comes up my mind when I read your problem description:

Please try to delete the Tomcat work directory and restart Tomcat (that’s always the first thing to do, if a server problem occurs)

If, this doesn’t help too, I would need more information.

What exactly did you customize: The GuiServlet class itself or a generated application or the HTML templates or…?

Please, describe the steps you performed a little more in detail

    Thank you for your contribution.
