Wrong repository version = 0 encountered

    We Installed the business connector and did all the preliminary settings as per the manual. When we tried to do a test on the server, its giving me the error 'Wrong repository version = 0 encountered". Please advise us.
    Error:

    class com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception
    Message Wrong repository version = 0 encountered
    Service sap.admin.server:getInfo
