Hello All,

I installed IS 6.5 with TN, Modeler and Monitor on the same system. When I tried to install Broker 6.5 on the above system it said the default port has been used by other application. So I used 6869 and went ahead installing the broker. Finally it has thrown null pointer exception with the following message.Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Doesn’t look familiar. What operating system version and hardware platform are you using?

is there an older version of IS active on this W2K-System?

At least Broker Monitor needs to be updated to the newest version installed on this system.

Latest Version available is Broker 6.5 SP1.

Apparently, there is a known issue with the 6.5 uninstall process that leaves an awbroker.cfg file in the c:\windows\webMethods folder.

Delete the folder and reinstall Broker.
