Most people and enterprises today are finding themselves in a journey to AI. Every journey is different. No matter where you are within the journey, there are common steps where you can learn from others and adopt it for yourselves.

Introducing the AI Ladder - to get you and your company on the journey to AI.
    • Collect: Make data simple, and accessible
    • Organize: Create a business-ready analytics foundation through governance and quality
    • Analyze: Build and scale AI with trust and explanability
    • Infuse - Operationalize AI throughout the business
    • Modernize - Make your data ready for an AI and hybrid, multi-cloud world
To help you with this, we have a prescriptive approach to climbing the AI Ladder with IBM Cloud Pak for Data.

Regardless of where you are within the ladder, Cloud Pak for Data can help you move towards AI, to empower your business to be able to make smart decisions from your data.

Where do you see yourself within the AI Ladder? Again, each journey is different, but in those differences, there are similarities that we can address using Cloud Pak for Data. I would love to hear your thoughts. Let's chat!

I've been involved in some of the education planning for the Collect rung. It's an interesting area not only due to the sheer number of  products, platforms, and services that technically fall under the "Collect" umbrella (both inside and outside of CP4D), but the fact that it's the foundation for anything else that you may want to do on the AI ladder (hence the credo that "there is no artificial intelligence (AI) without an information architecture (IA)"). If you can't get your data problems sorted out, you're kind of stuck. One of my most recent projects was the Cloud Pak for Data 2.5 "Foundations" WBT, and the initial challenge was just having some data to work with to actually show the functionality of the CPD platform. Fortunately, we were able to set up and access a Db2 database on the public cloud that served our purpose.

There is also another great post from Deb Templeton that points to all the education related to the components of the AI Ladder - check out Deb's post: Click here
