When a scheduled bot fails to run, have it create a failed job

I know we've all been in a situation where an active scheduled bot fails to run and does not create a job. This can be frustrating since that means there is no indicator that anything has gone wrong.

Most recently, the maintenance task performed by IBM had stopped all the scheduled daily bots for one of our previous clients. They failed to realize that they needed to restart the Agent Services on their local VM after. None of the jobs had failed, so they assumed all was fine. Despite the schedule being active, none of the jobs were even being created.

I have created the following idea with IBM RPA in the hopes that in the event a scheduled bot fails to run, that they can create a failed job. Ideally with logs that can help point to the issue. In this way the support teams would be notified that something has gone wrong, instead of finding out days later from the business.

Thanks Martin! This is a great idea - I will be voting for it!
