    Hi ,

    We are moving from 7.1.3 to 8.2 and working wsdl is not able to consume in 8.2

    It’s throwing below error …

    Cannot resolve the name 'oans2:xyz to a(n) ‘type definition’ component

    Help is appreciate .

    Did you also check Empower if any WebSvcsXM fixes released for this? Are you on 8.2 SP2?

    There have been lot of changes in the behaviour of web services from 7.x to 8.x. I believe i might have discussed about this in a different post last year but i can not find it now. Here are some of them that i remember,

    • SOAP Response validation turned on by default.
    • The default generated SOAP Connectors do not have the hard coded targetInputSignature and outputsignature fields etc.
