We would like to know, how we can create a default Virtual Folder location ?
We are able to create new Folder and assigning to existing default Virtual Folder location. But how do we create our own default Virtual Folder location?

As far as I can see there is no way to add your own, the default virtual folder is provided by the platform. If you want to use you own location create a virtual folder and assign it as physical location. The default virtual folder is for use cases where you want to use the cloud storage provided by the platform.

"Remote location" is what you want, after selecting this it allows you to access locations via one of the supported file transfer protocols. With an on prem installation it would also allow access to the local filesystem, but in an IPaaS offering this does not make sense (respectively is mitigated/replaced with the default virtual folder location). Below are some screenshots of the available protocols as of February 2025. The most recent list and documentation is in the link I posted above.

Select the option "Configure with default virtual folder location" and either search for an existing location or type a new location namespace of your own choice.

And your a good to go.
