    Hello Team,

    We are currently running with 8.5.5fix pack version in our environment. We would like to upgrade to newer versions available.

    From the Latest fix packs for WebSphere Application Server I see we have  below version are available 

    I would like to know the major difference between the above versions.  And, also the recommended version for install considering performance and stability.

    Each fixpack has a full "fix list" detailing every change that went into the fixpack:  Fix list for IBM WebSphere Application Server V8.5

    I should add official IBM policy, "IBM recommends customers to install the latest available Fix Pack level."  https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/597705
    In terms of stability each fixpack also lists "known side effects".

    Hello Manoj,
    on the recommended updates page (https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/recommended-updates-websphere-application-server#ver85_0) you have a Documentation link next to each of the FPs where you can see what is fixed there.
    Furthermore the knowledge center marks changes  improvements based on specific fixpacks. These are however imho a bit harder to find. Best I could figure out so far war to search for a specific FP number like for example "8.5.5.16" which returns linke like https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSAW57_8.5.5/com.ibm.websphere.nd.multiplatform.doc/ae/welc_trnsdeployer.html with the changes marked.
