    Hi,

    I am running WAS7.0 on Windows 2008 R2.

    I am encountering a very frequent issue where
    1 - when i click on the Application --> Application Types--> websphere enterprise application --> Choose server name --> Click Update , it does not respond

    2 - even at times when i managed to "finish" updating the ear file , at the last step when i have clicked on the "save to master file configuration" --> again it does not respond for 1 hour or longer

    I have tried to restart the services , restart the server but still the problem occur

    Any advice will be much appreciated

    Hi maxzsim

      Which version (FP included) of WAS?  WAS_HOME\bin\versionInfo.bat/sh
     
      Any error in logs (PROFILE_HOME\logs\SERVERNAME\SystemOut/SystemErr.log or  PROFILE_HOME\logs\ffdc\)?
     
      Have you security enabled?
     
      Provide us more information to help better.
