MAM 7.6.1.2:

Users sometimes accidently view tasks as standalone records in WOTRACK (a task is viewed on it's own, not the main WO). The user doesn't always notice the ISTASK field being checked. This causes a lot of confusion.

The issue continues to happen, despite training. And to be honest, IT admins accidently do it too...even though we know better. :)

Question:
Has anyone tried setting up WOTRACK so that it warns users if they're viewing a task, not a WO? What would be a good way of handling that?

This is probably a good candidate for either a conditionally displayed warning label in red, or a warning dialog triggered by an Automation Script on Save.

I would go with the conditionally displayed warning label in a color of choice. XML and Conditional Expression
