ILMT and all its elements (including the VMMAN tool) get improved on a regular basis. This is why it is crucial to keep it up to date, so any known code-related issues can be ruled out.
Note ILMT learns about VMMAN tool status periodically - during data imports from BigFix, see:

So you need to make sure the VMMAN tool is up to date and its data is scheduled to be uploaded from BigFix client to BigFix server as described at:

Next, you need to verify if data imports from BigFix server to ILMT happen without issues - see:
