    It is possible that you're not even seeing both paths correctly through your VIO servers. You might want to include some output from the vio client like pcmpath query adapter and pcm path query device.

    Of course, one can't help but recommend that you also consider switching to NPIV. It eliminates lots of these issues and makes managing the storage for the VIO servers much easier providing your switches and HBAs support it.
