Vertical scaling required or horizontal scaling required?

    Hi, I am facing a scenario. we are having 2 Prod servers which are connected via clusters. Now we are moving towards new cloud base environment. I am in the position to decide whether we need same kind of set up or one more addition IS instance.

    Below are the some of the parameters which may help us to decide. I am getting this info from my admin page.
    Req’s per minute between 11000/min to 25000/min
    System threads = 414

    How to decide the memory or number of instances that may help us to distribute the load.
    whether Vertical scaling required or horizontal scaling required?
    is there any parameter i have to look for?
