    Hi:

    Depending on a value selected from a dropdown control, I have to show or hide other control in the same portlet. Can you give me some directions how to do this?

    Have a look at the wm_corecontrolstest (See the CAF Samples on the Communities) and look at the /view/toggle/menu.view.
