v6 on windows server 2008?

    We've found ourselves in a difficult situation - we run a v6 websphere commerce system on windows 2003 servers.  Support for these servers ends very soon.  We would like to run our system on windows server 2008 , but IBM does not officially support v6 on server 2008.  Upgrading to v7 is very expensive for us.

    Does anybody run v6 on windows server 2008?  How dangerous would that be?  We certainly don't want our ecommerce system to go offline.
