    Hello,
    I've set up an RDaT and configured TCIP successfully. With warmstart (WS) the scripts jmon.sh and rsed.sh, needed for RDz were created. But when trying to run lockd, the respective script

    /usr/lpp/rdz/bin/lockd.sh

    is missed, i.e. it was not created together with the other scripts in warmstart. Could anyone please help me and write how to get RDz runing with RDaT?

    What version of RD&T are you running and what version of RDz are you trying to start?

    Hello John,
    thanks for the quick answer. Currently the machine is down, because our Sysad is adding a new hard drive. I will give you this information as soon as possible. Could you give me a hint how to find this information quickly?

    What I can say yet, the RDz was preinstalled with the prepared hard drives, that were delivered with RDaT.

    We removed the need for LOCKD in RDz 9.0.  If you are running RD&T 9.1 then you have RDz 9.1 which again, does not require LOCKD.  I suspect that is your issue.

    Hello John,
    I have RDaT 9.1.0.0. The RDz Host part is the version that was packed with this.

    The RDz Client part is
        com.ibm.rational.developer.systemz.product.feature.nls1 9.0.1.v201310222249 com.ibm.rational.developer.systemz.product.feature.nls1.feature.group null

    Now I've started jmon and rsed services successfully. Starting lockd failed and as you wrote is not needed. But Connection is not possible. Following the message of RDz client and Detailed message:

    ...

    Server auf 194.233.115.198 konnte mit dem Dämon, der an Port 4035 ausgeführt wird, nicht gestartet werden.

    Der Aufbau einer Verbindung zu dem Dämon ist mit einer unerwarteten Ausnahme fehlgeschlagen: Connection timed out: connect. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Dämon an Port 4035 ausgeführt wird.

    ...

    Do you have any idea what to do to resolve this problem or what are the next steps to analyse it?

    I have found and solved a problem with IP-Configuration. Now it works without lockd.
