  • 1.  Using OpenPGP Package

Does anyone know if the OpenPGP package will work with PGP software loaded on a remote server (Not the IS)?

We are using IS 7.1.2 on a Unix server. The PGP software is loaded on a different windows server. Is it possible to configure and use openPgp in this situation? Any clues on how to do so would be greatly appreciated.

No remote protocol associated with PGP although I guess you could munge something together with NFS mounts or even SSH if the Windows box is supporting that etc  But I would recommend just installing a free local version on your Unix box. You can add the necessary key rings from your Windows version and you will be all set.

That’s what I thought… Do you know where I can locate a “free” version for Unix? Our engineers are telling me no such thing…
