  • 1.  USB Tape Drive - Rewind

    Posted Tue June 21, 2022 01:15 PM
We have added a USB tape drive to our Power6 (AIX 5.3) and seem to be unable to rewind the drive or use some other calls with tctl or mt.  Status does work.  Is there a workaround or something else we did wrong with mounting the USB drive?

    # tctl -f /dev/rmt1 status
