We are unable to post Signed MDNs to our customers even if they request for the signed ones.
We have a RI setup with TN on the internal server. A wrapper receive service calls the WmEDIINT receive service via proxy port.
We have defined the extended field for request MDN to be of signed type and we have confirmed that the customer is sending across Disposition Notification Options as ‘Signed’.
However, the MDN sent across if of content type ‘multipart/report’.

Any pointers as to why this would happen so?

Check the Certificates setup for Enterprise Private Key and Partner public keys. What is error you are getting? Check the Trading Networks Transaction Analysis and post the Error.
