I am new to Administration. Installed 9.9 and not able to start IS.
Please help me resolve the Issue.

Hari,
How did you start your IS? Were you using the startup script under /profiles/IS_default/bin or you have it running as Windows service and you start from there? Did you start with nohup?

Hi SMEs,

I’m facing the similar error, while trying to bring up the 9.10 IS server. Can you please help me out?

Trying to start up the server using the Window service (C:\SoftwareAG\profiles\IS_default\bin\startup.bat)

Notable error from the below logs is -
C:/SoftwareAG/profiles/IS_default/bin/.options not found

Is this file needs to be copied from somewhere? I see .options file under C:\SoftwareAG\profiles\IS_default[b]configuration [/b]but not in the bin directory.

No, you don’t need to copy this file. even i don’t have this file in my bin folder and my server comes up fine.

check if user which is trying to start server has permission to read\write.

It seems to be you are not connecting to the database, please check whether you have created the DB schema and DB is up and running.

The error is it’s unable to locate the tables. If you don’t want to use external DB, use embedded DB which makes you to proceed.
