    Dear friends:

I’ve configured a connection to a SQLServer DB and I’m getting the following error. I’ve checked the SQLServer Administrator
and the instance is running correctly. If anyone knows what could cause this error it will be very helpfull.

    Error encountered
[ART.118.5042] Adapter Runtime (Connection): Unable to enable connection resource adapterConnection:sqlServerConnection.
[ART.118.5036] Adapter Runtime (Connection): Unable to configure connection manager.
[ADA.1.204] Cannot connect to the database with DataSource class “com.microsoft.jdbcx.sqlserver.SQLServerDataSource”.
[Microsoft][SQLServer 2000 Driver for JDBC]Error in Establishing Socket

I placed jar files in IS-Home\lib\jars as well as in wmjdbcadapter\code\jars

I am using windows home edition with SP2
    I am using webMethods 6.0.1 with SP2

    need quick help on this

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Rajesh,

first of all this looks like either a SQLServer issue or like a network issue.

    Just for Clarification:

If you are really running on IS 6.0.1 SP2, you should consider to upgrade either to IS 6.0.1 SP4 or directly to IS 6.1 SP2.

Which exact Version of JDBC Adapter are you running?

Please provide SQLServer Version (for Server and Driver) as well as your connection config.

    Regards,
    Holger
